Chinmaya leads Armadin’s engineering team, bringing a wealth of experience in building teams driven by innovation, quality, and scale for enterprise security products.
As the VP of Engineering at Armadin, Chinmaya Manjunath leads a world-class engineering organization. A technology leader with over 20 years of experience, he specializes in building scalable enterprise products that drive outsized impact—from large-scale data processing platforms, security infrastructure, and high-performance distributed storage systems to SaaS products and disaster recovery solutions. He has a proven track record of building multiple products from the ground up, advancing early-stage ideas from concept to scale.
Before Armadin, Chinmaya was an Engineering Leader at Google, where he owned the Core Data Platform team for Chronicle Security—a security telemetry curated data lakehouse within GCP. Under his leadership, data volumes grew exponentially and the team scaled significantly, delivering high-impact enterprise products that strengthened Google’s security analytics, AI, and SIEM platform. The core data platform also enabled the AI transformation of Google’s enterprise security offerings.
Prior to Google, Chinmaya served as Director of Engineering at Cohesity, where he led Data Protection Core Infrastructure, Virtualization, and other key applications while driving multiple v1 initiatives from concept to revenue-generating product lines. He previously held engineering roles at Hedvig (acquired by Commvault), Riverbed Technologies, and Hewlett-Packard.
