The CEO and founder of CrowdStrike, George Kurtz is an internationally recognized security expert and entrepreneur. He joined the Armadin Board in 2026.

George Kurtz is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD), a global leader in cloud-native cybersecurity that protects organizations worldwide from sophisticated cyber threats. Under his leadership, CrowdStrike has grown into one of the largest and most influential cybersecurity companies in the world and a member of the S&P 500.

A pioneer in cybersecurity for more than three decades, Kurtz has been at the forefront of applying artificial intelligence, behavioral analytics, and cloud-scale data to modern threat detection and response. His vision helped establish CrowdStrike as an early leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, transforming how organizations defend against attacks through AI-native threat detection, response, and intelligence.

Prior to founding CrowdStrike in 2011, Kurtz founded Foundstone, a pioneering security consultancy and software company acquired by McAfee in 2004. He later served as McAfee’s Worldwide Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President. He is also the co-author of the bestselling Hacking Exposed series, widely regarded as one of the foundational works in modern cybersecurity.

Beyond cybersecurity, Kurtz is an entrepreneur and investor with interests spanning technology, real estate, and motorsports. He is a co-owner of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, where his passion for innovation, data, engineering excellence, and elite competition aligns closely with the principles that drive modern cybersecurity.
