With more than 30 years of experience working with multiple technology companies and a public accounting firm, Frank Verdecanna is a respected leader across the cybersecurity industry. He has been a Chief Financial Officer for more than 14 years at two public companies and two private companies.
Since retiring in 2023, Frank has provided advisory services and sits on the boards of multiple technology companies. Prior to his retirement, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Mandiant until the company was purchased by Google Cloud for over $5 billion.
Currently an advisor at Ballistic Ventures, he helps the firm’s portfolio companies navigate fundraising and financial strategies. In particular, he focuses on helping portfolio executives ensure that their financial models, projections, and due diligence materials are investor-ready.
His deep financial and cybersecurity expertise also helps portfolio executives drive efficient capital allocation, budgeting, and resource management, as he provides expert guidance on burn-rate management and cash flow optimization.
